I’ve been photographing babies and children since 2002, and have found that babies are best photographed in their own, familiar environment, so I come to your home for these sessions. You can choose for me to photograph your children in a studio set-up (which I bring to you) or in their natural environment. Children are definitely best photographed doing their own thing, giving them the freedom to play. Being away from the restrictions of a studio space or backdrop will create more natural, honest photographs, and capture their true personality. It’s great to be able to include their favourite toys, pets or anything which involves their current hobbies or interests.
I have a fresh supply of terry nappies for those nappy shots, and you supply their favourite toys, a change of clothes, hats... anything goes.
Allow up to 2 hours for the shoot. We can take time out for feeding and changing of young babies – anything to keep them happy! Parents and siblings are welcome too.
Within 2 weeks of your shoot, I will contact you to let you know that your pictures are ready for viewing in your own password-protected online viewing gallery.
The shoot fee of £295 (payable on the day of the shoot) includes £120 print credit – a voucher for this amount is included in your gallery. Reprints start at £35, professionally mounted, signed and ready to frame. I can show you samples on the day of the shoot.
Please note that at Christmas time, the last shoot date is generally the middle of November to allow time for processing and Christmas delivery, so don’t forget to book early!
