When Jacqui at Letheringham water mill asked me for a voucher for her good friend a few fields away, I was delighted to oblige. I’ve met Dottie the Dog before at a puppy party Jacqui had thrown at the mill, and I met the cat on the day of the shoot. Quite a character. It was a joy to visit them and photograph a couple of the cottages from outside for them. There’s also a fresh water pond for swimming with your furry friends. And a few swans who may or may not be trying to show you who owns the place really.
I enjoyed this shoot very much. The views from Letheringham Lodge‘s swimming pond are spectacular, and there are fields galore for your furry friends to frolic in. Dottie was great company on this shoot! When I returned to the main house, Henry the swan was making his presence known and was keen to check me and my cameras out. I stayed low. Maybe not the best idea but when Henry felt he had the upper hand he decided I wasn’t a threat. He turned on his webbed feet and went to ask Mr & Mrs Bickerton for treats. What a little character! Speaking of which, the cottages each have their own character and are so incredibly pretty. I think we chose the best time of year for the blooms in these shots. Just glorious! Enjoy:
