Hemblington Church Norfolk summer wedding photography
I love a Norfolk summer wedding! Being a local who hasn’t explored every corner of her home county I get to visit churches I’ve not been in before, and Hemblington church doesn’t disappoint! I highly recommend a visit to see the beautiful fresco inside.
Chris and Khushboo’s main wedding was in India a few months ago, quite a contrast to their wedding blessing here in Chris’ native Norfolk. I managed to catch them before they headed down the church path together before the blessing. I wanted a shot with the local countryside in the background for Khushboo’s family back home to see the lie of the land from Chris’s background.
During wedding speeches we get to learn so much about our clients. Apparently Khushboo asked Chris to accompany her to a Salsa class. Apparently it wasn’t that way at all. Whatever way it was, this pair have bonded and sealed their love in a beautiful setting under the gaze of the English side of the family and good friends.
After the wedding blessing everyone headed back under the scorching sun to Chris’ family home for drinks and reception in their Norfolk garden. The marquee was nestled at the edge of their orchard, which cast a welcome shade while drinks were being enjoyed.
Speeches later in the marquee and when the sun was lower in the sky I took a couple more shots of Chris and Khushboo together. The sun can be lovely in the early evening light for wedding photography, especially Norfolk wedding photography because skies are massive here!
I would love to see Chris and Khushboo’s Indian wedding photography! I can imagine it being so bright and colourful. I’ve photographed a few Indian ceremonies in my wedding photography journey, not in India yet! How about we turn the clocks back and I come and shoot that wedding for you too..?
Many more wedding photographs to come yet! I’m almost there…I hope in the meantime you enjoy these from the day. Feel free to share far and wide. Congratulations again!
