Norfolk marquee wedding photographs
I’ve covered lots of Norfolk marquee weddings. I do enjoy being in my home county of Norfolk and I’m grateful to all my clients who invite me to cover their weddings at home. It’s extra special!
On Caroline and Constantine’s wedding day the sun stayed with us for the entire day! Caroline’s family home made for a stunning backdrop. The beautiful garden was the perfect place for the marquee celebrations, and the house itself is like a doll’s house full of quirky and beautiful things.
Scottow church wedding ceremony
Caroline & Constantine’s wedding ceremony was held in the local village church at Scottow which was filled with the most beautiful flowers. Scottow All Saints is a lovely church nestled among farm buildings, a unique setting for a wonderful ceremony. I look forward to revisiting it! the couple were showered with confetti before they made their way back home in Caroline’s father’s car.
There was a receiving line back home to kick off the celebrations in the garden under a beautiful blue sky. Friends and family gathering to congratulate the couple on their arrival made for some lovely shots. Later on, the after dinner wedding speeches and their first dance together, a familiar sound rang out from the DJ’s mixing desk. You know how music can take you to another place? The opening notes of Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline did that for me. Memories of watching my mother dance to this tune while she ironed our school clothes so many years ago. I know every note! So my heart was soaring as I caught shots of everyone dancing and singing this to our Bride of the day Caroline. Sweet Caroline.
Congratulations to you both on a glorious day with great speeches and very organised ushers! I am most grateful to you all for your assistance. I love a Norfolk marquee wedding to photograph. Enjoy these. More to come:
