Family photography in Norfolk
When I heard from this lovely family again recently, we agreed on one of those socially distant photo shoots. They’re very popular at the moment. Insert wink emoji here. We spent a bit of time thinking about where we might go this time around. Somewhere with lots of summer colour. Somewhere local to them, local to me. Where we might do some family photography in Norfolk.
Then I remembered I knew just the place. A private home whose owner is a friend of mine. She has weddings, parties, afternoon teas at her Old Rectory. Of course they’ve been stalled for the time being. So I put it to her. She agreed. We were on!
The sun was due on the day of our shoot last week, so we started early. It was already hot by 9:30am. But there is plenty of shade in the gardens at the Old Rectory, so we could all stay cool.
The boys were so good! And both this family and myself were spoiled by so many beautiful backdrops. We walked from the formal lawn in the front of the rectory, passing the pond on our way into the woods. We came out at the glade and finished in the meadow. What a brilliant start to the day for us! Thank you so much to you all for this wonderful shoot. It was so good to see you again, and to be back at the Old Rectory! Enjoy these few photographs for now. The rest will follow in a couple of days:
