Kimberley Hall wedding photographer Norfolk
A Kimberley Hall wedding at Christmas! As if Kimberley Hall isn’t magical enough at any time of the year! It’s one of my favourite Norfolk wedding venues, literally just down the road from our home. Kimberley Hall was where Lisa & Paul celebrated their wedding with friends and family. I knew this wedding was going to be fun because earlier this the year we met for their engagement shoot at Wells next the Sea on the North Norfolk coast.
Bride and Groom preparations at Park Farm Hethersett
The boys were getting ready at Park Farm, as were the girls, in separate rooms of course. I do love to cover the groomsmen’s preparations as well as the bride’s whenever possible. It’s definitely possible when they’re at the same venue, and a great way for me to get an idea of the ‘main characters’ of the wedding day.
Winter wedding photography
I was grateful to have the great light to play with on the day. Sensibly tying the knot at 1pm on the 22nd December so we had some light in the sky! The light disappears so quickly during the winter, take note those of you planning your winter wedding
Photography is all about light, the quality of it makes such a difference to wedding photographs. Thanks to Lisa & Paul for not choosing the 4pm slot!
Lisa & Paul’s wedding speeches were hilarious. There were lots of ‘head in hands’ moments and so much laughter in the room. These two love to travel, as do many of their friends so I can’t wait to follow their instagram account for honeymoon photographs.
It was great covering your day! And what a great way to end my wedding photography commissions of 2017! Thank you to softley events for Sarah’s work on the day, and to Constance Rose for her beautiful wedding bouquet and flowers.
Many congratulations to you both! I know you’re dying to see these wedding photographs, so here you go – more tomorrow!
