Lizzie’s North Norfolk Christening photography
I was so happy to be asked to do some more Norfolk christening photography for this gorgeous family! Archie’s and Freddie’s christenings were in North Norfolk, at the same church with the ceremonies held by the same vicar. Jo has a wonderful way with babies and children, so it was lovely for the family to enjoy the continuity of her love and care.
Baby Lizzie is so full of character. The day of her christening she was full of curiosity and big smiles. The sun shone as it always seems to when I see this family, and the crowd of guests had swelled this year with more young children and babies to join the children’s party. Lizzie and the boys have so many cousins now!
I joined the family when they were getting ready. The boys were letting off steam as Lizzie was being dressed up for the party in her christening gown. The gown was made from her Grandma’s wedding dress, what a beautiful heirloom to create for her granddaughter! I wonder who will be filling this gown in the future.
As everyone gathered at the church I couldn’t believe the amount of babies present! As a specialist baby and children’s photographer when I first started my business I’m quite at home among young ones, so I was in my element.
After the christening, everyone made their way to Lizzie’s party where pink gingham tablecloths, pink flowers and pink cake and champagne made the backdrop of the North Norfolk coast look all the more pretty. The children had a great time, the boys did all they could to keep the girls off their boat. Guess who won? This was a great day for little girls. And little boys who are nurturing their love of cupcakes.
Here’s a snippet from Lizzie’s Christening photography. She’s full of character, just like her brothers. Enjoy:
