Cromer Wedding Photography
Lucy and Artem were married at Scottow church last Saturday. The sun shone on them all day long, and why not! It was just about the most perfect day for North Norfolk wedding photography.
I joined Lucy and the girls at Lucy’s aunt & uncle’s home in North Norfolk where they were getting ready. The bridesmaids’ dresses were the colour of the Norfolk skies and Lucy’s dress with its delicate lace buttoned sleeves was so beautiful. She looks amazing, don’t you think?
I hope these wedding photographs reflect the beauty of the setting – a magical backdrop with family history for Lucy, the pole marquee on the lawn and roses galore in full bloom in the gardens, even the marquee had its own flower bed inside with one of my favourite plants – lavender. Then there’s the family hounds – I adore dogs so much, the day couldn’t get any better!
I had a feeling this was going to be a fantastic day and I wasn’t wrong. Lucy and Artem’s sense of fun was matched by their friends and family. Their wedding reception even included a tug of war or two! Of course, Lucy and her bridesmaids beat the groom and his groomsmen with absolutely no help whatsoever from anyone else. Right?
Scottow church is gorgeous. Unlike many Norfolk churches, it’s lovely and light inside which makes life a lot easier for ceremony photography. The love between these two is infectious, the ceremony full of smiles and laughter, just look at their faces as they leave the church!
So the day blended seamlessly into night, with wonderful speeches, the cutting of three cakes followed by utter madness on the dance floor. It was great to see the wedding band 29 Fingers again. I slipped away quietly into the night as the fire pits were in full glow and the party went on. A blissful wedding! Thank you so much for having me capture your day for you. And massive congratulations! I hope you feel these photographs do your day justice. Many more to come soon! Happy honeymoon! Enjoy:
