Oxnead Hall wedding photography
I’ve been looking forward to this Oxnead Hall wedding so much! Verity and Samuel got in touch a while back about their wedding plans at the Hall this summer, and not only are they great together, they have some amazing friends.
Verity and Team Bride were getting ready at Verity’s family home in Norfolk. It’s about an hours’ drive from the venue, not that I was panicking or anything, but it was an hour’s drive away. Never have I been so grateful for Norwich’s North Circular. there was a lovely atmosphere in the beautiful family home with Verity and the bridesmaids getting prepared together. The bridesmaid’s emerald jumpsuits were handmade for the girls in Hong Kong, finished by a seamstress in Suffolk. Have you ever seen bridesmaids in jumpsuits? A first for me! The girls were great fun. Tthank you for your help, Bridesmaid Bosses.

Norfolk wedding flowers by The Swaffham Florist created an incredible flower cloud behind the wedding breakfast’s top table. I adore rosemary, it’s among my favourite herbs, there was a light scent of it in the air in the wedding barn. Verity had used it to decorate each place setting for her guests. A gorgeous personal touch.
Oxnead Hall is among Norfolk’s finest wedding venues. I met Lucy of Unique Norfolk Events there a few weeks beforehand to have a look around. (May I add here that the staff are AMAZING at Oxnead, thank you!)
It is a beautiful place. The barn, unlike most, has skylights throughout the roof. Barns can be so dark. This venue was well thought out! The gardens are incredible too; formal gardens, where the wedding guests gathered after the ceremony, and some beautiful outbuildings from various periods in history. Sam & Verity made an excellent choice of wedding venue in my humble opinion.
Other than a beautiful couple and a gorgeous wedding venue for a backdrop, another reason I was looking forward to their wedding was because I can recall when Sam was born. Time files. Let’s make the most of it. As far as my memory was concerned he was still a child. He’s a great catch for Verity, and she for him. Congratulations again.
I hope you enjoy this little snippet from your wedding collection. Thank you for having me cover your day. More very soon!
If you’re planning an Oxnead Hall Norfolk wedding and you like what you see here, I’d be glad to hear from you! Congratulations all!
