Somerleyton Hall wedding photographer
Pippa and James’ Somerleyton Hall wedding was perfectly timed for the wisteria season! The well-known wisteria tunnel in the grounds of Somerleyton Hall was in full bloom for their day.
Bridal preparations at Somerleyton Hall weddings
Joining the girls’ bridal preparations at Somerleyton Hall was a real treat. I’ve photographed many weddings at this beautiful Suffolk wedding venue but it’s been a while since the last. The girls were upstairs in one of the cottages. The light was interesting up there, and the space made for a lovely atmosphere with Pippa and her bridesmaids in the morning.
There are modern family portraits adorning the walls upstairs in the main hall, and it was in one of the rooms up another staircase off this hall where I joined the groomsmen. It’s such a bonus being able to cover preparations for both teams at the same place!
Brooke Church wedding
Pippa & James’ wedding ceremony at the beautiful Brooke church gorgeous. The church itself is so pretty with its organ and clear and clean window light! Light inside our glorious Norfolk churches can be quite rare.
Somerleyton Hall wedding reception
Back at Somerleyton Hall for celebrations in the gardens afterwards, Pippa and James joined me for a stroll among the grounds. At Somerleyton you’re spoiled for choice. There are ancient trees, formal gardens, the Hall itself and the orangery for amazing backdrops for your Suffolk wedding photography.
During the wedding reception, friends of Pippa & James provided musical entertainment outside on the lawn. The atmosphere they provided was quite magical!
Rebecca and Steve’s Bespoke Catering & Events provided the wonderful food they’re so well known for. A first class team! Pippa and James, you were so wonderful to photograph! And your crowd a joy to be around. Tell Guillaume I’m looking forward to seeing his shots, too.
My very best to you both. And congratulations again! Enjoy these photographs:
