If you don’t have a head for heights, don’t scroll down too far on this post. I never thought I’d be able to stand beside the tiles of the high roof of this old watermill, seeing a view which until recently probably hasn’t been seen in years. And what a time of year to see it – stunning views! The guest houses below the heady heights of the mill are already open for guests, and I’d like to thank that couple who kept their eyes on me as I scrambled up and down ladders among the scaffolding. The mill house itself is also coming along – stripping back continues, with the floors having been lowered to accommodate the taller of our species, it was incredible to see the soil which probably hasn’t seen the light of day since the house was built over a century ago. Enjoy, and congrats to you guys for all the hard work!
